You can make the main changes to your account directly from the website, without needing to contact support in most cases.
Update your residential address
Available for individual workers only, from the web version.
- Log in to your Ontop account from the website
- Go to Account Settings
- Select Address Update
- Edit your details: street, city, state, and zip code
- Complete FaceMatch verification
- Click Confirm changes
You'll receive a confirmation email once saved.
You cannot change your country of residence from here.
Change your email address
Available for individual and business workers.
- Log in to your Ontop account from the website
- Go to Account Settings
- Select Email Update
- Complete FaceMatch verification
- Confirm ownership of your new email via OTP (one-time password)
You'll receive a confirmation email at both your old and new addresses.
Delete your account
Available for individual and business workers through the platform, not available yet in the App.
Before you start, make sure:
- You have no active contracts or agreements
- Your Global Account balance is $0
Steps:
- Log in to your Ontop account from the website
- Go to Account Settings
- Select Account Deletion
- Complete FaceMatch verification
- Follow the guided steps
After deletion:
- Your account will be deactivated
- Your original email will be available to create a new account in the future
Why do some changes require verification?
For sensitive updates like your address or email, we require identity verification via FaceMatch and/or OTP to make sure it's really you.
