When hiring internationally with Ontop, compliance is key.
Each country has specific regulations that determine which hiring models are available and how workers must verify their identity securely.
Use this guide to understand:
- Where you can hire with Ontop
- Which hiring models are available by country
- What documents workers need to complete identity verification
Hiring Model Availability by Country
Ontop offers three hiring models depending on the country:
- Direct Hiring
- Contractor of Record - Ontop agreement
- Contractor of Record - Tri-party agreement
🌍 Why is a country missing from the hiring list?
If you are trying to create a contract and a specific country does not appear in the selection list, it is usually due to a compliance restriction known as same-country hiring.
This means our Compliance team must first complete an internal review. Approval is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For assistance, please reach out through our Support channels or contact your Account Manager.
