Sending dollars to Argentina has specific regulatory requirements worth knowing before you confirm your transfer. A few minutes of preparation can save you weeks of waiting.
Before you send
Contact the receiving bank directly and ask:
- What information do they need to receive USD from a foreign corporate account?
- Do you need to complete any forms or submit documentation beforehand?
Some banks require justification before accepting dollars from abroad. If you need any documentation from us, reach out and we'll help.
How are transfers processed from Ontop?
Make sure your bank has this information clearly:
- The sending account holder is Ontop Holdings Inc.
- USD transfers are processed from the United States via JP Morgan
- Ontop is not a bank and does not assign individual bank accounts to users
What if the transfer has an issue?
If the receiving bank can't process the transfer, we can request a recall:
- Ontop contacts the receiving bank and requests the funds back
- The recall does not guarantee a full or partial return
- The process can take an average of 30 days
- We can only credit you the amount that effectively returns to our account
This is why validating everything with your bank before sending is so important.
How to avoid delays
- Confirm your bank can receive USD from a US corporate account
- Ask if they need prior documentation
- Verify all details exactly as they appear in your bank records
