Your Ontop Platinum Card uses three different codes depending on the situation. Here's what each one is, when to use it, and where to find it.
PIN (4 digits): for in-store payments
Your personal code for using your physical card in the real world.
- You create it yourself when activating your physical card
- You need it when paying in physical stores or withdrawing at ATMs
- You can change it anytime from the app
How to change it: go to Card Settings (gear icon ⚙️) → Reset physical card PIN.
CVV (3 digits): for online purchases
The security code for your online purchases.
- It's fixed
- Find it in the app: go to the Card tab → tap the eye icon 👁️ → Card details
Authorized subscriptions and recurring payments continue processing normally without needing to enter the CVV each time.
Dynamic Token (6 digits): for secure account access
A one-time password that protects access to your sensitive card information.
- Changes regularly
- You need it to view your card details from a new device
- Find it in the app by tapping the shield icon 🛡️ in the top right corner
