As part of our efforts to continue complying with U.S. regulations and ensure seamless operations, we’re updating payment methods for clients based in Florida or those with workers under the YouSign model in Florida.
Below, we’ve answered the most common questions to help you navigate this update:
What is the Ontop Payment and Credit Operations (“Ontop LLC”) update?
As we previously discussed, certain adjustments are necessary to ensure compliance with U.S. regulations while maintaining your You Sign contracts.
As you opted not to proceed with Contractor Pro, we’re now moving forward with an alternative solution to ensure the continuity of your operations with Ontop. This transition will require updates to your payment methods to align with the new structure.
How does this impact my company?
If your company is part of this update, here’s what will change:
-
- Payment methods: Some payment methods will no longer be supported. We’ll notify you about the affected methods and provide guidance on alternatives.
- Payment data: You’ll receive new US Wire account details, and you’ll need to re-register ACH or credit card information.
- Invoicing details: Invoices will now display Ontop Payment and Credit Operations LLC instead of Ontop Holdings as a payment agent.
Why is this migration happening?
These updates are part of our efforts to optimize operations and provide a better experience for our clients.
Will this affect my workers?
No, your workers will continue receiving payments as usual. This migration is focused on updating your company's invoicing and payment processes.
What actions do I need to take?
Your Account Manager will provide detailed instructions, but here’s what you may need to do:
-
- Update your payment information for ACH and credit cards when prompted. Or, for US wires, update your account information.
- Inform your finance team about changes to invoicing details
- Adjust your payment methods if the one you currently use is no longer supported.
Will I lose access to my account or services during the migration?
No, your account and services will remain fully operational. Our team is dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition without interruptions.
Is this migration reversible?
No, once the migration to Ontop LLC is completed, it cannot be reversed.
When will the migration happen?
Your Account Manager will share specific migration dates with you. Rest assured, you’ll have plenty of time to prepare.
What if I want to create a YouSign contract in Florida?
Creation of You Sign contracts will be restricted for workers within Florida, US.
What support is available during the migration?
Your Account Manager will be your main point of contact for questions or concerns. You can also reach out to our Customer Support team for additional assistance.
Will I need to set up Auto Charge again?
Yes, if you’ve previously set up Auto Charge, you’ll need to set it up again after updating your payment method. Your Account Manager can provide guidance on how to do this smoothly.
Do I need to notify my team about this change?
Yes, it’s a good idea to inform your finance and legal teams about the migration so they can prepare for the updates to payment and invoicing details.
What are my options if I don’t want to migrate to Ontop LLC or change my payment method?
If you’re based in Florida and decide not to migrate to Ontop LLC or update your payment method, the alternative is to migrate all your You Sign contracts to Contractor Pro. You can do this by signing a modal directly on the platform. Your Account Manager can guide you through this process. If you’re outside Florida, you would be required to migrate only the workers in Florida to Contractor Pro.
