Here's how your Ontop Global Account works.
What is your Global Account?
It's your account in Ontop. Inside it, you can have up to two types of accounts depending on how you use the platform:
- Payroll Account: where you receive payments from your company
- Personal Account: a USDc account you can use independently to receive, move, and send money
You can have one, the other, or both. You can also complement both your Payroll Account and your Personal Account with Future Fund account to keep your idle money growing.
What is USDc?
USDc is a digital asset known as a stablecoin. Its value is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, making it stable and useful for fast, global transactions.
Your Digital USD is stored in USDc and securely held by our partner, BVNK.
How does your Personal Account (USDc) work?
If you already have a Payroll Account, you can move money to your Personal Account in seconds:
- Go to your Payroll Account
- Transfer to your Personal Account (USDc)
- Use it, move it, or send it however you want
Once you move funds to your Personal Account (USDc), you cannot move them back to your Payroll Account.
How do I receive money in my Personal Account?

A fee of 3 USDc applies per deposit. If you receive 100 USDc, you'll get 97 USDc.
How do I add money?
- Go to your Global Account and tap "Add Money"
- Choose how you want to add funds
- Select your preferred deposit method and follow the instructions
Want to receive payments from a company? Use Ontop Pay: tap "Request Payment" to create and share a payment link.
How do I send money?
- Choose which account to send from (Payroll or Personal)
- Select your payout method
- Enter the amount and confirm
You can send to:
- Bank accounts
- Crypto wallets
- Debit cards
- Platforms like Payoneer, Zinli, or AstroPay
Timing ranges from instant to up to 5 business days depending on the method.
Your Ontop Platinum Card
Your card uses the balance from your Global Account. You can choose which account to spend from:
- USD (Payroll Account)
- USDc (Personal Account)
To switch: Card settings → Card currencies. Make sure you have enough balance in the selected account to avoid transaction declines.
With your card you can:
- Pay online and in physical stores
- Withdraw cash at ATMs
- Track transactions in real time

Do I need to keep my money for a minimum time?
No. Use it whenever you want.
Can I track my transactions?
Yes, directly in the app at any time.
Where is Global Account available?
In most countries where Ontop operates. If it's not showing in your account, your country may have restrictions. Reach out to confirm.
Important information
- Not a bank account: USDc assets are digital, held in custody by BVNK. They are not bank deposits and may be subject to variations.
- Fees: some transactions may have fees according to BVNK's or Ontop's current policies.
- Limitations: use is subject to transaction limits, geographic restrictions, and variable processing times.
- Security: you have access to in-app security tools. Safe use of your account is your responsibility.
