Got a bunch of contracts to send? Don’t do them one by one. With bulk creation, you can set up multiple contractor contracts in a single shot using an Excel file. Fast, smooth, and way less clicking.
Here’s how to get it done:
1. Start the Bulk Contract Flow
Go to:
Hiring > New Hire or My Workforce > Add new hire
Then hit Multiple contractors.
2. Download and Fill the Excel Template
Click Download Excel Template.
You’ll get a file with all the fields you need, each column comes with handy notes so you know exactly how to format everything.
✍️ Just fill it out, follow the rules, and don’t leave any required fields empty.
💡 Need help? There's a sidebar with tips and a guide to walk you through it.
3. Upload Your File
Once your file’s ready, click Upload.
Three things can happen:
✅ Everything looks good:
You’re in! Move on to the Review Table.
❌ File format is wrong:
Double-check that you're uploading a .xlsx file. Try again.
⚠️ Some data has issues:
You'll get a return file with red flags on the problem cells and comments to fix them.
Just clean up your original file and re-upload.
4. Review & Confirm
In the Review Table, you’ll see:
Total number of contracts and number of workers
Search bar (by name or email)
Option to delete rows (🗑️)
Option to abandon the flow (if needed)
Everything good? Hit Confirm all Contracts.
You’ll then choose how to handle signatures:
Option 1: Sign Later
Contracts get created
Invitations go out to workers
You’ll see them listed as Pending My Signature
Option 2: Sign Now (Bulk Sign)
You sign them all at once
Workers get the invites after
Status updates to Pending Worker’s Signature
Want to Sign Later? No problem.
Just head to My Workforce > Onboarding. Click Sign multiple contracts, Pick your contracts, and sign in bulk.
