Everything you need to know about completing and updating your KYB (Know Your Business) process.
1. What is KYB, and why is it required?
KYB (Know Your Business) is a company verification process required by law. It helps us keep your account secure and compliant with local regulations. Completing it is mandatory to use our platform.
2. What documents or information will I need to complete the KYB?
- Your company’s legal name, type of entity, industry, and country of incorporation.
- Certificate of Incorporation.
- Details and valid ID of the Primary Authorized User.
- Details and ID of each person who owns 25% or more of the company.
- A clear ownership structure (including whether another company is a shareholder).
3. Who can complete the KYB process?
Only the Primary Authorized User — someone with formal authority to represent your company — can complete the KYB process.
4. What ID is accepted for identity verification?
- Passport
- Government-issued ID card
- Driver’s license
Make sure it’s a photo of the physical document, not a screenshot or photocopy. Use good lighting, and avoid wearing glasses.
5. I received a KYB invitation. What should I do?
- Open the email and click the link within 72 hours.
- Create your account using the same email.
- Set a secure password and verify your email.
- Complete the form with your business information.
- Proceed to the verification panel and follow the steps.
6. I made a mistake in the form. Can I edit it?
Yes, as long as you haven’t submitted the form yet. Once submitted, changes can only be made if we request a renewal or additional documents.
7. How will I know if my KYB was approved?
You’ll receive an email confirmation once our Compliance team reviews and approves your information. If more documents are needed, you’ll be contacted directly.
8. What is the KYB renewal process?
Once a year, we’ll ask you to review and confirm or update your KYB information. You’ll receive:
- An email notification
- An in-app alert
During this time, you’ll be able to edit your KYB fields.
9. Can I update my KYB information anytime?
No. KYB fields are locked unless a renewal is requested. Updates are only allowed during the renewal window.
10. How is my KYB data used?
Your information is used strictly to comply with regulations and keep your account secure. It’s stored securely and never shared without your permission.
