How to Save a Contract as a Draft?

With this new feature, you can now save a contract mid-process without sending an invite to your worker. This gives you the flexibility to come back later and finish without losing any of your progress.

Step by Step: How to Save a Contract as a Draft

1. Start creating your contract:
   Go to section My Workforce or click the button New Hire .
   Start creating a contract by selecting the relevant worker and entering the required information.

2. Fill in the initial details:
   Fill out basic contract information, such as worker name, contract type, and payment details.

3. Save it as a draft:
   Instead of ending the contract and sending the invitation to your worker, simply click Save as Draft .
   This saves all the information you've entered so far without notifying the worker.

4. Find your eraser later:
   When you're ready to continue, go to the list Onboarding .
   There you will see the draft. Just click Edit to pick up where you left off.

5. Complete and submit:
   Once you have finished your edits, finalize the contract, and the invitation will be sent to your worker.

1. Will my worker receive an invitation if I save a draft?
   No, your worker will not receive anything until you have finished and submitted the contract.

2. Where can I find my saved draft?
   You will find all your draft contracts in the list Onboarding . They will not appear on the list All Contracts until they are finished.

3. Can I edit my draft before submitting it?
   Yes, you can return to your draft at any time by going to the list Onboarding and clicking Edit .

4. What happens if I don't finish editing right away?
   Your contract will remain saved as a draft in the list Onboarding until you are ready to complete and submit it.

5. Is this feature available to all customers?
   This feature is available if you are using the new contract creation flow with Contractor Pro enabled. If you are unsure, just contact us for assistance.

6. How do I send the invitation to the worker?
   To send the invitation, click Review and Sign or I'll Sign Later . Selecting any of these options will immediately send the invitation to the worker.
